Benefits and Consequences of Creatine Supplementation in Teenage Athletes

The purpose of this piece was to inform teenage athletes about the possible dangers, and possible benefits of creatine usage.  I evaluated all sides of the issue, including the best kind to use, when to use it, and who should be using it.  This piece was intended for a teenage/college audience, but the format was not conducive to that audience.  

 

As a college student, many students don't have the time or money to go on a creatine usage plan, and many just don't have a reason to.  So while there are many benefits to using creatine in conjunction with weightlifting, I chose to explore what else besides supplementation could help the college student maintain fitness.   I do this in my website, "Fitness for the College Student", and my email newsletter "Sometimes I go to the Gym".
